From beginner to advanced, have a look at what some of our wonderful dancers say
Ciara Cawley Dublin I've been a dancer all of my life and Mary Beth's Sean Nos classes are honestly the most enjoyable I've ever known. Not just an incredible dancer and teacher, Mary Beth is sweet and funny and her classes are an absolute joy. Classes are a mixed bunch of men and women of all ages and fitness levels and in just a few classes Mary Beth has us all dancing together with huge smiles on our faces. Mary Beth breaks the steps down in a way that literally anybody can pick up and the atmosphere in class is a supportive one of pure joy - we are frequently to be heard involuntarily whooping with happiness as we dance (literally)!! A word of warning though ... after a couple of classes you will never again be able to stand still at the bus stop or the printer without your toes tapping and your heels clicking - it's contagious!!!
Allison Duvall Kentucky Mary Beth is a wonderful teacher who makes dance accessible, joyful, and fun. I’ve watched her work with beginning students and advanced dancers, and she is always able to meet students where they are... teaching new skills and bringing out the best in them. I love working with her!
Colleen Werle Dublin Mary Beth Taylor is an excellent dance teacher! Her classes are both fun and challenging, and taught at an appropriate pace for adult students. Not to mention her own dancing, which is top notch! I highly recommend her classes to anyone looking to try out a new dance style, pick up an old hobby, or push themselves as a dancer.
Paula Denham Dublin If you enjoy dancing, & meeting people & want to learn Irish dancing and Sean Nos steps then this is great. Mary Beth is The Best!! Most enjoyable classes, good fun as well, not too serious, unlike some other classes around, but you get the opportunity to learn the steps, & no pressure to dance alone, always part of a group, evening classes, in a central location. An opportunity to learn something new & traditional. I absolutely love it
Damien Smyth Dublin I started sean-nós dancing classes with Mary Beth towards the end of 2019. Mary Beth is a great teacher with lots of patience as well as expertise. She makes it all feel so simple and the classes are really fun. I would recommend them to anyone thinking of something different to do.
Eibhlin Ni Bhaoighill Dublin A very enjoyable class. Mary Beth is a wonderful teacher and she always has a lovely selection of music to dance to.
Collette Gallagher Dublin Brilliant class to take up at any age or ability! Thoroughly enjoy the classes!! Great teacher, great fun and great people!
Paul Kennedy Dublin I am 72 years old. Yes! 72 years old and doing Sean Nós dancing! I love Irish music and have always wanted to learn how to dance in the Sean-Nós style. I never imagined lessons could be found in Dublin and when I saw Mary Beth's ad for Irish & Sean-Nós dance classes, I enrolled straight away. That was two years ago and I'm still attending. I can't sing but now have a dance routine that I can perform for friends on social occasions. Give it a go. It's great fun and easy to learn especially with Mary Beth as the teacher.
